Restoration Services
Donna Laporte, staff writer at the Toronto Star, has written another article on Nitty Gritty. This one focusses on our history, particularly our expertise in refinishing and restoration. We came by it honestly, making our name providing restoration services for the Royal Ontario Museum in the 1970’s.
Through that decade and the next, we stripped, refinished and restored thousands of fine antiques for individuals and antique dealers alike. Last year we officially relaunched our restoration services publicly, partly because of the many examples of poorly refinished furniture, and also because there were so few options now in the marketplace.

Kimberley Seldon loves our Sleigh Bed with cedar lined drawers. This is a great little article on maximizing storage in small spaces. Little wonder she came to Nitty Gritty!
