Urban and Transitional

The shift over the past 10 years towards imported contemporary furniture made with cheap veneers and MDF, with shaded dark finishes, is a sad reflection of the times.  It looks best in a magazine, but doesn’t last. Unfortunately, too much of it will end up in land fill sites.  When we build, we build for life, using solid woods, to give great comfort in durability and longevity.

While we don’t build cheap furniture, we do enjoy many aspects of Contemporary and Transitional styling, particularly Art Deco.  See below for a few of our examples.
